In this report, you will find a summary of all the Improvement Idea Revs

Filter and play with the information provided from the data on specific dates, print those views, or download reports in .xlsx to present them with your collaborators.

Follow these steps to access:

1. Go to the Insights section

2. Select "Improvement Idea" report

3. Choose the timeframe (dates) you want to see

4. Select the localization of the Revs

Creation

This section of the report focuses on the creation of Revs, meaning all charts link the selected period of time with the creation date of Revs.

  • New Ideas: The number of created ideas during the selected period with its trend compared with a previous period of the same duration. Ex. If the selected period is 1 week, the trend will be compared to the previous week.

  • Area Breakdown table: The number of created ideas per area during the selected period with its trend compared with a previous period of the same duration. Ex. If the selected period is 1 week, the trend will be compared to the previous week.

  • Improvement Idea Created Chart: The number of created Revs per day, week or month depending on the selected period length. Allows you to understand trends on participation.

  • Improvement Idea Creation by Categories. This donut chart allows you to breakdown the created Revs by the first category selected in a Rev.

Completion

This section of the report focuses on the completion of Revs, meaning all charts link the selected period of time with the completion date of Revs.

  • Completed Ideas: The number of completed ideas (NotImplemented, Learned, Implemented) during the selected period with its trend compared with a previous period of the same duration. Ex. If the selected period is 1 week, the trend will be compared to the previous week.

  • Area Breakdown table: The number of completed ideas per area during the selected period with its trend compared with a previous period of the same duration. Ex. If the selected period is 1 week, the trend will be compared to the previous week.

  • Improvement Idea Completed Chart: The number of completed Ideas per day, week, or month depending on the selected period length. Allows you to understand trends on participation.

  • Improvement Idea Completed by Categories. This donut chart allows you to breakdown the completed Revs by the first category selected in a Rev.

Financial Impact

This section of the report focuses on the validation of Revs, meaning all charts link the selected period of time with the financial validation date of Revs.

  • Validated vs Potential Impact- The overall financial impact validated during the selected period of time compared to the potential of Revs completed during the same time period. Financial Impact is calculated as Monthly Cost Reduction+ Monthly New Revenue - Investment.

  • Breakdown of Validated Impact- The same financial impact validated during the period displayed as the individual components: Monthly Cost Reduction, Monthly New Revenue, and Investment.

  • Breakdown of Validated Revs by Category- A breakdown of the impact of validated Revs during the period based on the first category selected for Revs.

What does the state of each Idea in the report mean? (Improvement Idea report)

All ideas within Rever have a status that changes according to the Rever Cycle.

Below we show you each of the possible states and their definition:

REVER CYCLE

  • RELATE If the idea is in the Relate stage and one of the fields has not been completed, it will be shown with this status.

  • EXPERIMENT Upon completion of the Relate stage the idea has to experiment. Until the fields are completed, the Experiment will be the state of the Rev.

  • VERIFY In this state you will find all the ideas that have answered the question if the experiment has worked as expected or not.

  • EXPAND If the idea has already been verified, it is in the expansion stage. Here are all the ideas that require information on where else to implement and what is the final solution.

  • REVIEW This status will be displayed for all ideas that reach the Review questionnaire, regardless of the number of questions answered. If the idea is completed with any question without answering the status will remain as Review.

PDCA CYCLE

  • PLAN If the idea is in the Relate stage and one of the fields has not been completed, it will be shown with this status.

  • DO Upon completion of the Relate stage the idea has to experiment. Until the fields are completed, the Experiment will be the state of the Rev.

  • CHECK In this state you will find all the ideas that have answered the question if the experiment has worked as expected or not.

  • ADJUST If the idea has already been verified, it is in the expansion stage. Here are all the ideas that require information on where else to implement and what is the final solution.

  • REVIEW This status will be displayed for all ideas that reach the Review questionnaire, regardless of the number of questions answered. If the idea is completed with any question without answering the status will remain as Review

What information can I find in the exported Excel Improvement Ideas Report?

This report is available from the Improvement Idea Insights report, it is a downloadable Excel file that contains all the information of the Ideas generated in your organization during the selected period and location.
